Doggie Dharma

After years of my pup Luna ( Sheppard/husky mix) exhibiting aggressive behavior towards other dogs as well as being difficult to all because of constant pulling, I finally sought out professional help. I met Geoff through my dog walker Raquel Arguello who I hired through Rover. What a team I found. I have had dogs my hole life, but after one meeting with Geoff along with Raquel I learned more about my dog snd my part in our relationship then I ever knew. I saw steady improvement but we agreed that intensive socialization as well as training on impulse control was needed. Geoff and Raquel took Luna under their care right after Labor Day weekend, Kuna came home November 14, she was a new dog. We had another lengthy trying session so I had a good understanding of what they had taught her. Today Luna and I took our first trip to a store and what a pleasure, no pulling, no jumping on people. She sat and waited while we looked and chose items and then while on line. Walking Luna is now enjoyable and I look forward to our walks/training sessions every day. Geoff has done amazing work with my rescue pitbull. She was afraid of everything when she first came home with me, from a silent cabinet door opening to pulling a broom out of the closet or taking a clothing item out of a drawer. She needed a lot of desensitization and I needed to work on being the leader. She wouldn’t play with other dogs before boarding her with him, out of fear. I almost didn’t believe videos he sent me of her playing appropriately with dogs triple and quadruple the size of her. Now, large dogs are her favorite friends anywhere we go. Geoff was so patient throughout this process and always answers any questions I have and responds to concerns. He facilitated a bond between me and my pit that I never expected to come close to. She went from anxious and depressed to happy and full of life and love within a matter of months.

I met Geoff while in a desperate situation. Rufus had destroyed all my furnitures. I was almost looking for someone to take him over. Geoff taught me effective ways to manage Rufus behavior. Geoff has been there for me in every step of the way, from feeding tips, crate training, and socializing with other dogs. All Geoff training has enhanced my relationship with Rufus. Geoff is very caring, patient, attentive and gives Rufus lots of love. A true blessing to Rufus and I.

I can not begin to express how much I appreciate and respect all the love, care and attention Geoff and Raquel have consistently shown for my girl, Bella. It has been just shy of a year since we met, and I have to say my Bella has improved so much!! Her socializing with other dogs and overall behavior—-she’s just so happy! That’s all because of the time and training of Geoff, he not only watches the dogs, he studies them and works on their behaviors..as well as helping the owners too ☺️. I trust wholeheartedly his advice. I even started Bella on a raw diet as per his recommendation, and she no longer suffers from ANY allergies and has some pep in her step! I highly recommend sending your pup here or set up a training class if you’re looking for QUALITY care 😊
