Dog3 Training

I came to Dog3 with an energetic 6-month-old lab puppy, that I had no control over. The chewing of everything, my shoes, the remote control (x3) and even my glasses! The accidents in the house, the not listening, the pulling on the leash, and on and on. I was at the end of my rope and seriously considering the decision of having a puppy. I thought I could train her, but it was way harder than I thought. I needed help, enter Kelly at Dog3. She is amazing. She trained both of us (the puppy and me) the not only the skills to address the issues but the why they were issues. I was making so many mistakes in my approach and Kelly explained in plain english why and how to correct them. After six sessions and the skills I learned, I now have a puppy that I enjoy so much more. Trust me, Dog3 is the reason me and my puppy are set up to have a long and wonderful life together going forward.

Kelly at Dog3 Training was incredibly kind and accommodating for our nervous puppy from the moment I first emailed her! We did the Puppy Elementary class, which was set up in a way that helped the puppies stay focused (visual barriers). Having someone with expertise guide us through these first few months with our new puppy was so helpful! Our puppy gained confidence and we gained a lot of knowledge on how to train in a positive, fear-free way (and the right time to *click*!). Thank you, Kelly!!

Kelly is a wonderful teacher, coach and leader! She is incredibly compassionate and supportive and meets you and your furry family member where you are at. I was nervous to bring my pup who is very excitable to group sessions, but with her help he did amazing! She made the process feel really easy and intuitive, of course the real training comes from consistency and daily effort, but with her tools you are sure to succeed and have a better line of communication with your dog. I will definitely be returning to Kelly, her passion and love for dogs/understanding their language is clear. I love her emphasis on positive reinforcement, rather than punishment. It makes me feel like a much better Pom mom. I highly, highly recommend and my FUNdamentals graduate Pomeranian Cooper does too!

Kelly is truly a gem! She is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful in every aspect of her business. My wife and I recently brought our golden puppy Clyde in for a few months of sessions and we were blown away with our experience. Kelly is very attentive to her clients specific needs and does a great job explaining the “why” behind the behavioral coaching and sent us home each time with a thoughtful and detailed outline of what we covered, what to expect next time, and a helpful list of resources and recommendations for puppy supply. We plan to come back for the next round of training soon and will recommend Kelly to all our friends and family.
