I cannot say enough amazing things about DOGU and their incredible team! Calvin, the trainer, is truly phenomenal — like a real-life Dog Whisperer! He has completely transformed my two dogs. They’ve learned self-control, how to walk calmly without pulling, how to settle down when needed, and even how to interact politely with other dogs. Calvin also worked with my family member’s dog alongside mine to help them coexist peacefully — and now we can all get together without any worries about tension or fights. The difference is night and day! My dogs absolutely LOVE going to DOGU for training, daycare, and boarding. They are always excited when they arrive and come home happy and relaxed. You can tell the entire staff genuinely loves and cares for the dogs. Tyler is wonderful too — super organized, friendly, and always makes scheduling effortless. The facility itself is spotless, always smells fresh, and has such a positive, welcoming vibe. I would recommend DOGU to absolutely anyone in Alabama looking for the best dog training, daycare, or boarding experience. Hands down, DOGU is the BEST — five stars aren’t enough! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+
Wasn’t pleased that I didn’t get pictures as they said since they don’t have cameras and my dog wasn’t tired when home. After three play times, they said would happen, I would think she would be a little worn out but we’ll see. I already paid for another day so I’ll take her back and see if it’s any better
Dog U is great! The staff are very friendly, Calvin had a great approach to training, and the place is pristine and does not smell at all like dogs!
We’ve trained with our multiple dogs at Dog U. It’s always been a very positive experience, each dog’s individual needs have always been considered. I felt very comfortable leaving one of our dogs for boarding recently and knew she was in the best of hands. She loves going there for training, occasional daycare, and boarding.
