Dog Training with Terah

My energetic pup and I have taken quite a few training classes together to enhance our skills and strengthen our bond. In August 2025, we enrolled in an Intro to Agility class with Terah. Right from the beginning, I wasn't really a fan of her training methods. However, since I had already paid for the class and Terah mentioned it was just for fun, I decided to stick with it. During each session, Terah would completely ignore me when I greeted her. Her demeanor was always pretty frosty towards me. Still, I kept attending for the reasons I mentioned earlier. My dog and I practiced at home, and considering he was at a Sub Novice Level, he was doing quite well. Most of what we learned came from our home practice rather than the class itself. The last class got postponed because of the weather, and the new date didn’t work for us since we were going to be out of state. I explained this to Terah, and she said we could come back to take the final class whenever we returned. I told her my return date was uncertain, so I asked her to email me the certificate from the class. She agreed to send it. However, almost a month later, I still hadn’t received it. I reached out a couple more times, but instead of discussing the certificate, she completely ghosted me. Since this class was supposed to be for 'Fun,' as she claimed, there was really no reason for her not to send the certificate. I wrestled with the idea of leaving a negative review for Terah and her business, but her ignoring me just confirmed my feelings about her unkindness and poor business practices. At this point, my only aim was to get the certificate from the class that she failed to send. I would gladly remove this One Star Review if Terah would just follow through and email me the certificate.
