Dog Training With Miri

When we got a wet mop of a dog from Milo we were totally unprepared for what she would become. She wasn’t a puppy, nevertheless she in no way house trained. She was a stray and was terrified. Because she was scared she barked at everything Miri has helped us understand our dog Djuna Barnes — Miri is so intuitively keyed in to who dogs are and what they need. Miri is a great dog/people trainer who loves dogs! She has made a huge difference in my reactive rescue dog's behavior by really analyzing my dogs personality, genetic predisposition, age and history. She adjusts training as necessary for the particular environment and reactions from my pup. She is constantly evaluating and adapting to my dog's individual needs as she uses a very interactive and hands on approach. She is so loving and kind with both of us and really cares. Miri has been an amazing dog trainer for Buddy and I. She’s super knowledgeable about dog psychology and really understands why dogs do the things they do, which has helped me understand Buddy a lot better too. She’s also very accommodating and understanding of my disability, which means a lot and makes the whole experience way less stressful 🤙🏽 Since Buddy isn’t fully vaccinated yet, she’s gone out of her way to safely help socialize him. She even wheeled him around the dog park in her rolling cart so he could watch and get used to other dogs from a safe distance. She’s also taken Buddy and I to places like Home Depot and Petco with Buddy in a cart so he could safely experience new environments, sounds, people, and smells while still being protected. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and wants them to build confidence the right way. I highly recommend Miri to anyone looking for a trainer who really understands dogs and puts real effort into helping them succeed.
