I have a pit mix he was hit by a car at 8 weeks old and I rescued him from the Humane Society. As he grew older (1 and a half now) he became very hard to control on leash. He would bark, lunge, and pull at cars, people, dogs, and bikes. I thought I would never be able to take him for another walk in my neighborhood. We had resulted to walking on secluded trails. I'm so glad I found Eric. He really has been teaching me how to be the leader of the pack. He gets to the point and is very straightforward. It's really more about teaching ME than my dog (although he is learning lots too). If you need help with your dog I highly recommend Eric. I can finally take a walk in my neighborhood with my dog and for that I am truly thankful for. Call Eric he won't let you down! I'd give him 10 stars if I could.

We decided to work with Eric because of the many positive reviews and are so glad we did! Our adopted little 6 month old chiweenie was extremely timid around other dogs and would freak out when we tried to walk her around other dogs. Eric taught us the correct way to walk her and how to build her confidence through various exercises. We have gained her trust and become more confident ourselves as Eric has taught us how to work with her. We will never use another dog trainer as we have found the best!
Eric is an incredible trainer! He trained us to communicate with our dog effectively, and the results have been amazing. We were not only able to address the concerns and issues we had, but now we also feel confident going into new situations. If you're looking for a trainer, look no further!

I adopted a rat terrier/chihuahua mix from the Denver Animal Shelter in July 2016. Lucy is about 22 months old and was a complete loose cannon on a leash. A friend of mine had already called Eric to help her with her two dogs, so I asked for his number. Best decision I could have made. The most important lesson I learned was understanding my dog and her personality. I learned that her tugging on the leash and barking wasn't a sign of aggressive attack, but that she loves everyone and wants to get to know them, albeit very loudly. We worked on walking properly on a leash, not barking at every person, animal, and leaf that passes us on the sidewalk (still perfecting this part), and sit/stay in the house. Eric is very down-to-earth and lets you know exactly what you need to do and why. I highly recommend him for all of your dog training needs.
