The investment is 100% worth it. My dog came home with the same adorable personality, but now suddenly far more attentive and responsive to commands. You still have to work with your dog after picking them up, but suddenly they're far more receptive to your guidance. 100% recommend!

I am 100% satisfied with the job they did with my German Shepherd Luna. She was 10 months when I signed up for their 3 weeks basic training and 2 week off leash training. I must say she is now a wonderful dog to take out for walks, runs, and errands. Every one we pass on the street is amazed by how great she listens and follows all commands. I very STRONGLY recommend their service. The staff is great to work with, and you can contact them at anytime for feedback that may be needed. I am planning on sending Luna back to them, to complete the Protection training as well!

I have 3 English Bull Terriers between the ages of 8 and 30 months old. Admittedly their unruly behavior is mostly my fault and I was in need of a miracle if I was to have any life outside of yelling at my 3 beloved bullies. After researching a number of options I reached out to Ivan Balabanov at Dog Training of Tampa Bay and he agreed to meet me with my biggest problem child. After the meeting he took on the challenge and all 3 dogs spent a few weeks with Ivan and his excellent staff. The long and short of the story is that once the dogs were trained and my husband and I were schooled as well, we collected our brood and are enjoying the exceptional results. Ivan's assistant Brittany is remarkable and knows her trade and Darrell does a fantastic job caring for the welfare of the dogs. They have recently added an intern who is sizing up to be a formidable trainer in his own right. I can't say enough about the care, training and follow up that Ivan and his team have given. We sent our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Jacob, to the 3-week obedience class at about 7 months of age. I've lived with dogs my entire life, but never done anything like this, so I was very curious about how it would turn out. It's now several months later and honestly it would be very difficult for us to be happier with the experience. Jacob learned a lot and so did we. He's is now an extremely well-behaved dog. His ability to heel or stay in specific locations in either down or sitting positions, along with his recall make it so I'm very comfortable bringing him essentially anywhere dogs are allowed if we choose, which we do often. Perhaps it could be overlooked by some, but the time with Ivan and the other trainers was invaluable to us continuing the training and really understanding more about Jacob and how to respond to his behaviors. It's not easy to realize at any given time how to effectively communicate with the dog, but the time we spent gave us time to get familiar. I now feel much more comfortable in when and how to give specific commands, corrections etc.. to really let the dog know what I'm trying to tell him, instead of just confusing him. Overall I highly recommend Ivan and his team. They care deeply about dogs and has really helped us have the opportunity to have a great relationship with ours.
