A couple months ago I took my dogs here for their three week basic obedience. Both my dogs are rescues and are great dogs but no one ever took the time to teach them obedience. I was immediately impressed with the time they took to understand me, the dogs, and what I hoped we would get out of the training. I was able to visit my dogs while they were there, which gave me great peace of mind. The change in my dogs in just three weeks was remarkable. I am so glad I chose to take my dogs here. The staff was fantastic; you can tell they really love dogs and enjoy their work.

Natalia worked wonders with our GSD. Banshee was already about 5 months old when we got her and had already learned some bad habits. After spending 3 weeks with Natalia she came home a different dog! Same personality, only sweeter and very obedient. You can tell that Banshee genuinely enjoys learning and listening to our commands. She's such a happy dog. One of the things that's been so wonderful about Natalia is the support she has given us since Banshee's training. Anytime we've had questions or an issue has come up that we didn't know how to handle Natalia has given us excellent advise on how to remedy the situation. If we ever get another dog we will definitely use Dog Training of Tampa Bay again.

Never had a better experience than with Dog Training of Tampa Bay! Whether working obedience and daily life training with Natalia, or protection training with Ivan, it has always been first class all the way. Never have I seen faster results or two people that truly "understand" my dogs! I noticed right away that no dog was trained EXACTLY the same. They take the time to determine your dog's learning needs and the results are nothing short of amazing! One of my dogs did the 3 week obedience "boot camp" - he was a handful when I dropped him off, chewing through leashes and throwing tantrums. I was worried that he would be anxious, sad and lonely...when I visited, he was excited to see me, but was more excited to get back in and play with his new friends and work with Natalia! Afterwards he was a new dog! So nice to love EVERYTHING about your dog- not just "when he is good.." Because now he is always good! My second dog is working hard to hopefully someday compete. Natalia has taken a dog with a silly, young dog, short attention span with wild crazy behaviors and molded him into a focused pupil! He LOVES training and we LOVE that he is so focused and well behaved! Ivan does a great job figuring out just what my dog is thinking, he gets into his head and finds a way to communicate what it is we want him to do. It's incredible to watch. Basic training, doggy boot camp, obedience, competition, protection, or just working out "issues"-you name it- they can do it. Single day training appointments with you or extended training where your dog stays and is worked with regularly are available and both methods are fantastic. They give fast results and in both settings Natalia or Ivan will work with YOU to help you communicate better with your dog! Yay!!!! At no point was I EVER worried about my dogs' safety or how they were treated! They loved it there, were very well cared for and they both look forward to going every time! Wish we could go every week!

I rescued a female Belgian Malinois from a shelter, it came to me without any training and with aggressive and fear issues. After a few issues with her it came to either return her to the shelter and she would be put down or find professional help. After a lengthy research, I found Dog Trainers of Tampa Bay. It was a long ride from Miami but if it would help it was worth trying. I did the ride and met with Ivan and Natalia, I felt that it was the right place to help Princess. She stayed for three weeks, during that period I kept on receiving emails and videos of her progress under Natalia care. After the three weeks I went to train for the day with her and when I saw Princess, she was a complete different dog, she was obedient and not aggressive at all, it was a pleasure to see the change in her. The trip was worth it, Natalia did a great job for which I am grateful to her because by doing such a great job not only she change Princess into a well trained dog, but she also saved her life. So thank you Natalia for giving me Princess back. Now I go with Princess everywhere and I don't have to worry, people admire her behavior on leas and off leash. So Thank you again Natalia.
