Dog Training Elite Frisco

Unfortunately, they don't follow with the customers. I went to their office on July 3rd and spoke to one of their staff to get training for my GSD. They took my details to contact after the holiday. Waited for couple weeks and no calls. Then my neighbor remind them as he was getting his dog trained in their facility and they told him we will contact him. 2 months after First contact and still waiting. Thanks for nothing.

Would not recommend. I found this place online and saw all of the good reviews and thought it would be a good fit for me and my puppy. It took multiple calls and a week before anyone even called me back to discuss training. I paid for the in-home puppy training which is $500 for 4 sessions. The day before our first session, I receive a call stating they needed to reschedule due to a trainer quitting. The following week we had our first session and needless to say, it was very unproductive. Just repeating lots of the same information (which wasn’t much) and the trainer giving my puppy way too many treats. The following week I had to cancel due to my puppy being sick and having stomach issues. The week after I received a text the day before our session asking if I could come to the facility for our session due to a staffing change. I didn’t have my car at the time but also paid an extra $200 something dollars for the in-home training and requested to reschedule. I ended up deciding to cancel all remaining sessions with this place after paying $500 and only completing one session as they seem inconsistent and there’s too many scheduling problems, the one session I had was extremely unproductive and non-beneficial and when I texted them advising that I wanted to cancel my remaining sessions, I never even got contacted asking why or if they could do something to help or at the very least offer me my money back. I highly recommend doing your research and finding another place if you are looking to get your puppy trained.

I’m extremely disappointed with Dog Training Elite. Two weeks ago, they came to my home for an in-home assessment with the understanding that a veterans organization would be covering the cost of service dog training. Since then, there has been zero follow-up—neither to me nor to the organization ready to fund the training. I even reached out personally to their lead trainer, Tray, and got no response. The lack of communication and professionalism—especially on a veterans-related initiative—is unacceptable. I expected more from a company that claims to support veterans. I would not recommend them based on my experience.

I cannot say enough how pleased I am with Dog Training Elite and the training they provided for my pup (and me:) Kelly was always so gracious to take the time to answer my questions when I called the office, or to check with one of the trainers if needed. Felicity was an absolutely PHENOMENAL trainer. She really is the “puppy whisperer!” She equipped me the with the skills I needed and worked with me until I was confident using them. It was worth every penny and I would definitely use them again! Excited to continue our training with the group lessons soon!!!
