DOG TRAINING by Louise Marie

Dawn was very patient and answered my questions which were many. My dog and I learned and relearned what we had forgotten. I learned to be consistant and training takes time. What we learned was so helpful to make our home a happy place. Most of all, Dawn got to know my dog and others and so willing to spend time with us. You could tell she loves all dogs and is so willing to help. And it was fun

I originally took my dog to Rescue Dog Trainers puppy class on recommendation from a friend. The trainer was Louise & she was awesome. My puppy is a golden retriever & pretty wild when we started. Louise is the most patient person with not only the puppies but the owners too. There were many times I thought I was doing something wrong & Louise was always just a message or text or email away to help me through it. Although I thought my puppy would never learn the commands, Louise encouraged me to just keep working with her & she would get it & low & behold she did! Louise shows you everything you need to work on with your dog & if you put in the time the methods she teaches you work! Dixie passed her puppy class & since I would like to take her into nursing homes to visit the elderly we signed up for AKC Puppy Star training (step one toward service dog certification). Again Louise worked with me to overcome some puppy issues & with Louise’s help I am happy to say Dixie has passed the course & we look forward to the next step toward her certification. I would recommend Louise & Rescue Dog Trainers for anyone who has a puppy or any dog that needs training. The trainers are very knowledgeable & I love their training methods - no harsh choke collars etc.
