FirstBarkRobert is the best dog trainer around! He’ll help you to understand the theory of dog training and how to apply it in the first lesson. From there you continue to hone your skills with every private session and weekly group sessions. Highly recommend! Our dog has 4 AKG certifications and we’ve been studying with Robert for about 6months.

Robert is an awesome trainer who is available each weekend at the barking lot or even for personal one to one visits. Definitely recommend if you want your dog to have better behavior!!

When looking for a dog trainer for my cattle dog pup I wanted to find someone who would not only help iron out some behavioral issues but really help me to understand how to be a better dog handler. Robert went above and beyond my expectations. He takes the time to educate owners and ensure they understand the fundamentals and theory behind his approach. He offers a combination of private sessions and group classes ensuring that your pup gets the one-on-one attention needed to understand and work through issues while also providing a safe supportive group environment to work through real-life scenarios under varying levels of distraction. In addition to obedience training he introduces dogs to scent work and agility opening up the possibilities to build on their skills. With such an active and intelligent breed, this is ideal for our needs. My dog and I have been working with Robert for 6 months now and have seen a vast improvement in her obedience and overall behavior. It’s made a world of difference in our relationship and improved my confidence as a handler. I now have a foundation that I can use to problem solve training challenges as she learns new skills. I cannot recommend Robert highly enough. If you’re ready to start and serious about training your pup you will not be disappointed.
Rob is a very knowledgeable trainer. He takes his time teaching you the right ways to get your dog where you want them to be. I've been very happy with my pups progress based on all of Rob's instructions. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an educated and patient trainer.

Rob was so informative and helped me understand how to better care for my dog’s dietary needs. My dog has a very sensitive stomach, and Rob explained to me why and how raw feeding would help improve her condition as well as her overall health. My dog showed a huge improvement! No more hair loss, excessive itching, diarrhea, or bloody stool. Her coat is shiny now and she even looks more muscular. I can also tell she is more comfortable and not in pain. Thanks Rob!
