Dog Savvy Dog Training

Andrew has been gifted with dogs from a very young age! His love for dogs and his ability to connect and communicate was fun to watch. By 3rd or 4th grade, without any formal training or guidance, Andrew had trained one of our dogs to do all kinds of basic obedience and neat tricks, both verbal commands and hand signals. I don't know that we knew this is what he would choose to do with his life and career, but we knew we would support him in his adventure ... well, obsession! You are in very capable, well-experienced and educated hands with Andrew and Gleason Professional Dog Training. He is so passionate about helping dogs (and their people!) and brings an enthusiasm to what he does that is fun and contagious. We adopted a troubled rescue by the name of Mandy. Once Mandy got comfortable with our family she took a very protective role to the point where we felt uncomfortable walking her because she was so unpredictable. In stepped Andrew and it was exactly what we had hoped for. He laid out a plan that was super easy for us to understand and the "whys" behind her behavior. Andrew was very flexible with timing and each lesson we learned something new which provided more structure for Mandy. Mandy's behavior has done a complete 180 and you can tell she is a much happier and comfortable dog. It was all because of Gleason Professional Dog Training.

I have a 2 year old GSD named Dexter, and when he was a puppy he was very sweet and loving. However, as he got older he became very protective of me and my family, and made it difficult for everyone when guest would come over. He also could not go outside and not be on a leash. I searched all over for dog trainers and tried several all over Austin, and while Dexter always came back slightly improved it was never what I was looking for. Luckily I finally found Andrew with Gleason Professional Trainig. After just one session with Andrew, I saw a change in Dexter's behavior, he became calmer and focused. Dexter has now been in training with Andrew for little over a month, and he is a different dog. We are able to have guest over without fear of Dexter barking the the entire time or trying to protect us. Andrew has not only taught Dexter how to listen and obey commands, he has taught Dexter his place in our family. He has taught me and my family how to interact with Dexter to ensure that we know how to communicate with him and establish guidelines in our home. I can not thank Andrew enough for his help with Dexter, and I look forward to where Andrew takes him next.

Andrew started training my dog when he was about 6 months old. He learned the basics, going to his crate on command, how to sit, lay down, etc. not too long ago, andrew boarded my dog for 3 weeks. Over that time, he has transformed into a completely different dog. He has manners as far as: boundaries with the kitchen, what the word out means, how to heal, and wait to be called. Kash is eager to learn and is now stress free. All he wants is to work and please me. Andrew did some amazing work with my dog and I'm grateful to have my pup back home with me. He is now not a pain, he's fun to be around and work with. Kash is stubborn, but is smart. Has a wonderful memory. ❤❤❤
