Dog's Best Friend Training

I’ve returned to edit this review. Originally this was turning out to be a bad experience after signing up. We booked a puppy kindergarten class for 5 weeks. Initially it was postponed 1 week and we were given notice that day. The next week, it was postponed again to 3 weeks later. We agreed to the new date and time via email and text. Upon arrival at the location and time, the business was closed completely. It was evident that we were not informed that the class was either moved or cancelled for a third time. After speaking with the owner and voicing our frustrations, they made things right by issuing a refund and offering a class anyways. While it wasn’t a perfect experience we really enjoyed our first class. If you and your new puppy are looking for training or a class, you will learn a lot with this company. Just keep in mind you might have to postpone or reschedule if their class does not have enough dogs.

I just finished my 5th and last class of Puppy I with David V. He was fabulous. I never missed a class because I knew it would always be great. He's magical; knows how to train the pups as well as the owners. He definitely has a way with the pups! What an asset to Dogs Best Friend training! I haven't signed up for puppy II but I will watch to see when he is teaching that one near my location. Now I just have to apply what he taught to my little Pearl!

We took our one year old dog, Madison, to the Get Focused and In Control class. This class has given us a ton of tools to help her listen to us in distracting environments along with controlling her impulses. Although Madison can struggle to show her skills in class, she is improving greatly at home and on walks. I would highly recommend this class along with the other classes they offer as I am sure they are just as great. I also appreciate that they accepted Madison into class as a pitbull mix, as there were many other local trainers that refused to work with her due to her breed. Thank you!
