I love Dog’s best Friend! They have been so helpful patient and I’ve learned so much!!!!
We have been bringing our dog to DBF since she was a puppy, all of the classes offered are great for training, socialization, and our personal fav, agility! The trainers are very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions during class or after. I always feel that my dog is safe and her best interest is taken into consideration! Thanks Aimee and Dog’s Best Friend for offering such great classes!
Having a leash-reactive dog with a high prey-drive is TOUGH. Having a leash-reactive dog with a high prey-drive is TOUGH. But DBF is always so helpful and accommodating - they would go so far as to create a sectioned off space for her during class if she needed it. I've taken beginner and intermediate family dog training, intro to agility + foundations, and get focused & in-control. Each class brought something new to the table and not only teaches you how to do things, but also WHY. All of these classes + a private consult (with Chelse) helped me better understand my pup and have made life a lot easier. The biggest lesson I've learned is that things take time (it took 3-4 months of training and testing out different harnesses to get to loose-leash walking), but positive reinforcement training WORKS and is the right way to do it.
