Definitely the BEST canine day care and training facility in Boise! I look forward to the days my Golden gets to go play his heart out knowing he will be mentally and physically exhausted at the end of the day without picking up any bad habits. The staff is kind and conscious. The dogs are always in a zen state (no barking!)! Their training technique is remarkable. Highly recommended.
These women are miracle workers. They were our last hope for a very reactive dog. Thanks to their amazing training, she is confident and calm.
I’m not going to lie I was skeptical at first bringing my dog Benson here. He would lunge at other dogs/ people on walks and would pull like crazy and just was uncontrollable. I’m not going to lie I was skeptical at first bringing my dog Benson here. He would lunge at other dogs/ people on walks and would pull like crazy and just was uncontrollable. We took him here for the 10 day board and train and he’s improved SO much. He still has some work to do at home but they have done such an amazing job. They sent pictures and updates throughout his stay there which put my mind at ease. We were impressed so much that we decided to put our other dog Ella through a shorter training and she did AMAZING as well. They’re both like whole new dogs (in a good way lol!) We can’t thank you all enough for helping us with our fur babies!

So grateful for those here at The Dog Retreat Center. They exceeded my expectations in training and seriously educated me on how to be a leader for my dog. I signed up for the 10 day doggie detoxer program which had 3 follow up sessions for myself to get trained as well. Worth every penny! They even sent me pictures and updates on his progress while he was there for the 10 days. I would have paid more just for the great pictures. Thank you Teri Aslett & d’Andra Cahill, you guys are awesome!
