Dog Retreat Center

I brought my new shelter rescue here for their 5 day "daycare and train" program and cannot say enough great things about the staff, the center, and the philosophy. Everyone was so friendly during pickup/drop-off, the facility is clean, and the pups are well loved and taken care of while maintaining boundaries and rules. The philosophy and training format is very intuitive and really "clicked" for me as a new owner. The 1:1s in the center and in the home were extremely helpful and both Grace and Zen are so knowledgeable and helpful, as it can be a lot of information to process at once. I feel empowered as an owner (and the new "leader of the pack") and would recommend Dog Retreat Center to anyone looking for a training program or daycare/boarding option. I especially love knowing all dogs being boarded or attending daycare have also attended DRC training. I wouldn't change a thing about my experience and feel very thankful to have found DRC.

Our rescue pup Ziggy is an excitable girl. Dog Resource Center has given us the tools channel this energy and maintain control in more situations. The 5 day daycare and train program helped Ziggy and us improve or dog / owner relationship immensely. The entire crew was so patient and helpful. Our program even included a lesson in our home.
