What ages of dogs do you work with?
We prefer not to start puppies before 12 weeks.
There is no age that is necessarily too old to begin training but this is something we would discuss prior to training if you have an older dog.
We have worked with dogs who are 10+ years old.

We were so happy with the training that our Tater received at East Texas Dog Training. We sent Tater for the 3 week training program with Samantha. She did an amazing job getting Tater socialized and trained. Tater loved his time with Samantha and came home a more confident, well behaved pup. Without the foundation Samantha provided, Tater would not be as far along in his service dog training. We recommend East Texas Dog Psychology and training whole heartedly. Training is an investment that truly lasts a lifetime for your animal, as well as your family. Give Samantha the chance to help your dog become the best it can be!

We did not end up signing our pup up for training but we did gain a lot of practical information just on our Discovery Call that was useful in helping our pup. We are so grateful.

I am so grateful to Dog Psychology and Training Center. They did a great job at helping me understand why my dog behaves the way he does and what we can start doing now to help change his behaviors into more positive ones. The training team is very knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help with their dog's behavior.

What a blessing to have Samantha as a trainer. We went through dog psychology and training center with our Nym. Nym needed help with learning that not everything was out to get her.
