After interviewing a few dog training companies, we came across Dog Owner's Academy after seeing a wrapped vehicle move into our neighborhood. We were matched with Amya and the results we have gotten with our 2.5 year old GSP have been outstanding after only 4 weeks. I would highly recommend using them for any behavior that you may need assistance with. The group sessions are also well planned and instructed.

Dom did a great job on a basic refresher for ourselves and our danes. He is great at instilling confidence in the owners. Can’t wait to get to a group session with our boys!

Incredible experience from the initial in home consultation. They do what they say! They built a program specifically for us. Love the one on one and the group classes. Every person I have interacted with Amya, Dom and Turk have been wonderful.

I've been very pleased with my experience with Dog Owner's Academy so far (since February 2025, it's now May). My new dog was having behavioral issues (food aggression, pulling) and now he is much improved. Special shout out to Amya! I did the "jump start" program which includes board and train as well as individual sessions. It's pricy but the changes are sticking and the support is easily available. I also like that there are also plenty of opportunities for socializing.
ETA - it's now August and Milo is doing really well. Amya, Turk, and the team are so supportive. The investment is so valuable.
ETA: April 2026. He is still a challenge but much more obedient. He has trouble at the vet so I scheduled an appointment with Amya so she could be at his annual physical. She was invaluable for me and him!
