Dog Obedience Guy

Jonathon was amazing at helping our Lab puppy who we got as a rescue at 4 months. We literally couldn’t even pet our dog for the first few weeks we had him because he was so bitey - he regularly drew blood or scratches on us while “playing” and we were feeling pretty hopeless. Jonathon gave us some great and practical ways to work on this, and with a few weeks of consistency with those tips we had a dog of an entirely different temperament who we are no longer afraid will bite us or strangers when going to pet him. On our second visit with him we received additional training guidelines on leash walking, establishing “place”, leave it commands, and more that gave us confident we’re going to have a good and well trained pup moving forward. We also really appreciate that he doesn’t try to sell or pressure you to buy some sort of bundle you don’t need, or withhold any tips / advice for “class 7” or something like that. Highly recommend!

Jonathan’s kindness and expertise was a gift to our family. We recently adopted a rescue and were struggling to meet her where she was. He was supportive, calm, and encouraging. After 2 sessions, we feel confident with her training and safety, as well as ours. My dog and I have been working with Jonathan for about 6 months now. I highly recommend using Jonathan. He has this calm demeanor that helps learning/ training. My pup had slight separation anxiety from being displaced foster to foster. Jonathan teaches the owner (me) to be the one the dog looks up to. He gave me training tools to boost my confidence in myself, which in return my dog now respects me and the commands are easily followed . My pup has gained confidence and respect in me and that has lead to less separation anxiety. Amazing !!! The commands we started with were basics and now the sky in the limit with what we can do and more to learn . My pup and I both enjoy our once a month training sessions .
