Had a great experience working with Nate. My dog has had some reactivity issues for some time, but lately they became worse to the point that I knew I needed to reach out for help. Nate worked with my dog and I and gave me clear and thorough guidance. Within a few weeks my dog's reactivity had been reduced dramatically, and we have seen consistent progress as we continue to follow the plan. Highly recommend Nate!

Nate was an excellent dog trainer that helped with our ACD’s reactivity issues. Nate started by establishing fundamental obedience training that helped eventually tackle our dogs reactivity. He showed up with various tools and techniques, and often had to adjust the training sessions to tend to our dogs needs. He was always very responsive and answered our calls and texts if we needed a last minute training session. I would definitely recommend Nate for obedience training as well as reactivity training.

So thankful that I found Nate. He is an incredible trainer. We have been working together for a few months and my dog Rio has transformed over that time. So many of the challenges that we were dealing with before starting with Nate are now total non-issues. From the beginning, he listened intently to understand the unique challenges/goals I had so that he could tailor a program specific to Rio. Primarily, we have been working on off leash reliability so that I could safely and responsibly give Rio more freedom. Nate helped equip me with the toolkit to be able to effectively communicate boundaries with Rio while giving him the opportunity just enjoy being a dog. I am so much more confident in Rios ability to make good decisions all on his own now - thanks to Nate’s guidance. Training expertise aside, it’s Nate’s tremendous passion and respect for dogs that sets Nate apart from other trainers. Quick example…during our first consultation call, one of the first questions Nate asked (before even getting into training specifics) was weather Rio has had opportunities to get in the water (he is a Portuguese water dog). Putting that much value on breed-specific fulfillment is exactly what you want in a trainer. It shows an admirable attention to detail and dedication to helping dogs live their best lives.

We’re very grateful to Nate for helping us with our new rescue dog Nyla. She’s a great dog but was very reactive when encountering other dogs. I tried different online training programs but none worked. When we initially met with Nate, he asked lots of questions and took the time to understand our situation, our challenges, and what we were hoping to achieve. He recommended specific tools and high value treats, then taught us a series of techniques to manage and help overcome her reactivity. During each of our sessions he was focused on, professional, and passionate about helping us achieve our goals. In between sessions he would reach out for updates and offer suggestions. We’ve made huge progress with Nyla thanks to Nate. We highly recommend him.

Nate is an incredible trainer and great to work with. He has a wealth of knowledge and it felt like he always gave such a thorough explanation behind his strategy and training. Our dog Willow has come such a long way in terms of her leash training, general obedience, and reactivity with other dogs.
