I adore Shawn! Doglife really speaks dog. I sent my 4 and 3 year old standard poodles to Doglife for four weeks of board training (standard is 3 - I paid for 4). They came home with a full “vocabulary” of training commands making it much easier to communicate with them and set all of us up for success. Instantly staying off furniture, coming when called, playing fetch (great brain game) and more. However, quickly I felt I was overwhelmed with the dogs not responding to me as well as Shawn. He almost instantly came to our house and helped me understand how to work with them. The boys are light years better than when they started 4 weeks ago. People need to understand dog behavior won’t change in weeks but we have an amazing foundation now and I’m so hopeful. I have the skills to keep the training going and it’s easy. A few minutes here and there and it reinforces what they learned. I joked that after 4 weeks with Shawn it was ME that needed training - not the dogs. If you need dog training - stop looking. Shawn is your guy! Be willing to follow through when the pup(s) comes home and you will have massive success!

We are so lucky to have found Dog Life LLC almost three years ago. Our Golden Doodle Lucy fell in love with Shawn. His calming, friendly and caring personality and excellent training turned Lucy into a very well-mannered pup. Since then, we’ve continued using the positive training methods he taught us. When she needs some extra reminders, or if we are planning a vacation, Lucy stays at Dog Life’s boarding facility. Having Lucy with Shawn and his team is like having her with family. I know she is being well cared for and loved.

Shawn was absolutely wonderful with Peanut! I can now walk him in the neighborhood without being dragged after every single moving thing!!🤣🤣 He also has NOT dug any holes in the back yard!😊 Peanut is 55 pounds and my mom’s dog weighs 7 pounds. He took extra time on a Saturday to show my mom and I how to work with them so hopefully they start getting along!🙏👏 it’s a process but so far working pretty good!! Thank you Shawn!!👏🙏🎉

My XL Bully needed to learn certain manners, and I found Dog's life was at the end of my street here on maps, so I contacted them, and Shawn, the co owner with his wife are not only Great Dog Trainer's but they are Great Neighbor's and have become Family to us He is so awesome I just got a female XXL Bully and she's 12 week's old and he's going to start her training so he's still working with my male who's 16 month's old he's the one pictured Thank You Dog's Life if anyone needs a Great Trainer's I suggest using them 💙 ❤️ 💜 🐾 🐾 🐾
