Garrett was exceptional explaining the options that were best suited for my 2 Cane Corso puppy's to keep them safe while still allowing them to play like puppies. He was very courteous, honest and went above and beyond to ensure things were done correctly. He took the time to explain how the system works and how to go about training the 11 month old and the 4 month old differently. I recently bought a house and wanted a solution to allow my dog to run around rope free. I found Dog Guard and am very happy with the solution! Garret, the owner of the company is very knowledgeable and trained my dog. My dog it a pitt and naturally scares people, but not Garret. The first day they met Maddox walked right up to him, which he doesn’t do to anyone. If Maddox likes Him he is great in my book. In addition the fence allows Maddox to roam freely and keeps him away from areas I don’t want him, such as up against the neighbors fence. Garret has also been willing to work with me when the line got cut accidentally or a rabbit chewed through it. Garret knows his stuff and has a growth mindset. His character is kind and willing to meet your needs. A great solution for an electrical fence.

While doing yard work my husband cut our electric dog fence and it stopped working. I called Garrett and he answered the phone and got me an appointment super fast! He came out and fixed the fence quickly. He followed along the entire property to check for any other issues and checked the main box to make sure everything was working well. He did a really thorough job and communicated everything clearly! I would definitely, without a doubt, recommend this company!

I tried to hire Dog Guard for a repair one of my aerators made. It started off well — he gave me a quote and a date. I was the middleman between him and the homeowner, and while I had a bad feeling because he never answered my calls or texts, I finally reached him using a different number. He told me he had already called 811, had the area marked, and that I could meet him with a check on Thursday the 28th. When Thursday came, I texted him in the morning with no response. I showed up to the house and saw the area wasn’t marked. I called him three times with no answer. Later, he texted that he had been in an accident on the way to the job and couldn’t make it. He then called and said he would reach out to reschedule, but he never did. The accident was a fabricated story, and the area was never marked. He clearly had no intention of doing the work. If he didn’t want the job, he could have told me instead of wasting two weeks of my time.
