Lauren is excellent. She is patient and her training methods and demeanor are very effective, even for the strong willed, but affable English Setter! She not only trains the dog, but also educated us about how to further instill her training techniques. We went from a dog that hardly listened to us to one that followed commands and even kept eye contact while off leash in the mountain parks -- truly amazing! Strongly recommend in every sense. Dog Gone Good Training made a HUGE difference for us with our golden retriever puppy. I got their name while walking with our puppy from another dog owner and am so appreciative to have this resource. We now can walk comfortably with our puppy by our side as well as actually accomplishing the sit stay down wait etc. commands, even with distractions. They are true dog lovers and want us to have success with a well behaved family member for a pet. We definitely recommend Dog Gone Good Training.

Lauren is AMAZING!!!! She helped me navigate through the adolescent stage my very smart, driven and stubborn golden retriever. Obviously, I was the problem. Lauren taught me how to communicate clearly with my pup. Working with Lauren completely changed my relationship with my dog. I went from a frustrated guardian to a confident leader to my best friend . In particular we struggled with recall and running away in unsafe situations. Lauren gave us the tools needed to ensure I could allow my dog the freedom to sniff and run and do "dog things" while giving me the peace of mind to know I could keep her safe and guarantee she would come back to me. I've worked with many trainers and many dogs over the years and I can't say enough good things about Lauren!!!! She is the real deal!!!!! 5 stars!!!!

We loved working with Dog Gone Good Training to help our 1.5yr old lab, Tally, learn some manners! Tally is a very friendly, excitable dog who needed to learn some impulse control and gentle walking manners. Lauren’s patience, consistency and clear instruction was amazing. Not only did Tally dramatically improve on her (non) jumping, loose leash walking, and off-leash listening, but Lauren gave us the tools to reinforce the training for Tally’s long-term habits. Both Lauren and Tracy were always cheerful and a pleasure to work with. I only wish we had started the training sooner!
