About Dog Gone Good Dog Training
Would you like a well-mannered dog, but just need some guidance? Let me help you learn how to build a relationship with your dog through positive based obedience training, leadership, and verbal and non-verbal communication. I cover all basic commands and everyday life situations, such as greeting people, going for a walk, and coming in from the yard. My services are very personalized, whether you are in a class situation, if I visit you at home, or we train long distance through video conferencing. Sometimes a combination of both is helpful. Dog training is not "one size fits all." Each dog/human relationship is unique and requires an individualized approach.

We have had only positive experiences with Leah and her training classes! We adopted our pup, Callie, during the pandemic and started going to Leah for private lessons to work through some nervous behaviors we were noticing. Leah was very attentive and professional and gave wonderful suggestions. She also provided lots of helpful articles and readings which helped us understand how dogs think and act better. In addition, we just completed the Good Dog course with Leah and had such a great time working through new commands and building a stronger bond with Callie. Callie absolutely loves Leah (Leah might be her favorite human) and goes nuts everytime we pull up to the training center. We’re looking forward to continuing our training with Leah and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer.

Leah and her team have been fantastic so far! My Penny is currently a 5 month old Golden Retriever. We went to Puppy Head Start training when she was 12 weeks and it was very helpful with simple commands and helped her have some puppy social play time. We are now in the middle of Manners and More and I feel the need to post about how great this is going! Penny is generally okay on the leash, but Leah gave such specific advice that has been a game changer. The lessons have been informative and in bite-size chunks which makes training much more digestible. Thank you, Dog Gone Good Dog Training!
