Dog Genie

Enlisting the help and support of Dog Genie was the best decision I made when I adopted my rescued terrier puppy. I read every book I could get my hands on about positive training methods, but nothing compared to the real life, hands on experience Genie provided. Our private training sessions were fun and energetic, and my puppy Phoebe instantly loved her. The support and feedback Genie gave me was invaluable as I navigated the crazy days of puppyhood. She was always there for me when I doubted myself and I thought I was doing everything wrong, and was as much of a mentor to me as she was to my dog. Phoebe and I worked with Genie privately and also took several of her group training classes, including Obedience, Tricks, and Nosework. Genie’s methods are simple, straight-forward, and always based on a foundation of positive, loving interaction between owner and dog. As a result of our time with Dog Genie, I now have a wonderfully well-adjusted, mellow little terrier adolescent. Phoebe is confident and comfortable in the world, and I am now equipped with the skills and understanding I need to be the best pet parent I can be. Genie was truly made for this and I am so grateful to have found her!

Genie is a magician. She uses only positive methods to train dogs and more importantly, their owners. Whether its a new puppy or a dog who has long-standing behavior issues, Genie is the person for you. In addition, Genie was patient and successful in working with two of our grandchildren, ages 6 and 8, who were very frightened of dogs. After only a one hour session working with Genie, the children found a new comfort level with dogs. Genie is a "dog-gone" miracle worker. We would recommend her without reservation. She will make a significant difference in your life with your dog.

One of the things I like best about Genie's methods is that she uses positive reinforcement so your dog actually looks forward to training. It's so much fun to see your dog start to pay attention to you and become a more well balanced, happier pup. Not only that, it also makes the bond between you and your dog so much stronger.
