Dog Dynamics

We have worked with Dog Dynamics for years. Bonnie helped manage behavior changes in an older dog that became reactive after being attacked. She was professional, patient, punctual and kind. We recently had the pleasure of working with Emily. During the three week boot camp she transformed our energetic puppy into a young dog that we can take on outings, to restaurants, cafes and camping. We get compliments on the behavior! Emily kept us updated regularly and was patient while training the humans too. We have also had the pleasure of working with Avery for puppy training and for scent work. Avery is great at making adjustments during class and she makes class fun. Our dog really enjoys the scent work and we like that Avery helped set us up for success at home so we can continue the fun. Dog Dynamics responds quickly and professionally to questions. They are thorough and care about helping improve and strengthen our relationship with our dog.

Bonnie, Avery, Diana, and the rest of the team at Dog Dynamics are an incredible resource for anyone welcoming a furry new family member. From early group training and socialization to more intensive board-and-train sessions and follow-up individual lessons, their classes offer personalized tips for us humans to better understand our dogs and elicit the kind of calm, confident, and respectful behaviors we want. I’ve seen huge improvements over three years of partnering with Dog Dynamics and have recommended them (to great success) with family members, friends, and even long-lost littermates living out of state (thank you, Instagram and Zoom). Our 4month old German Shepherd, Dozer, needed general puppy training and was also reactive to dogs and people. Bonnie recommended a three week board and train with Emily Goodman. Dozer completed the session and we completed 2 trainings with Emily. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Dozer is a different dog, calmer, with basic obedience skills and his reaction to new people, dogs and surrounding has improved 💯. Emily has been wonderful to work with. She clearly loves animals, working with them and their people! She is a wealth of knowledge and is available to answer all questions/concerns through the process. We have already signed up for the 3 week adolescent board and train with Emily to take Dozer’s training to the next level.
