About Dog Days Training Center
Dog Days is a private training center located in Berthoud, Colorado. It is our mission to empower our clients to learn about their dog’s needs, strengthen their training skills, promote socialization, address behavioral shortcomings, and improve all areas of quality of life for a rewarding relationship between people and their dogs. Laurie Buffington, the owner and chief trainer, teaches people how they can “read” their dogs so they can reinforce desirable behaviors. Laurie believes that training people how to train their dog enables them to create a well-mannered dog that is a pleasure to have around.

Love this place!! Laurie knows her stuff. I'm a veterinarian who has trained with veterinary behaviorist, zoos, and several dog trainers. No matter who I met, I am still impressed with her training style, facility, method, and collaboration with other behavior professionals.
Laurie and her crew can help you get your pup under control. They evaluate every dog separately to give you personal advice before putting you in a class.
I have no doubt Laurie knows a lot about dogs, but she is really bad with people! She belittled us, and told us our dog would end up in the pound, as we would never get her to her potential. My pup was terrified of her!!The moment she had me close to tears I should have walked out. I would NEVER leave my dog with her.
