Dog Busters K9 Obedience

I foster Australian Shepherds and had a 'problem child' with stranger danger. He was a handful and always in protective mode, nipped at people, and charged my husband 4 times. With us, he eventually bonded but not with our adult children. We, through the rescue, reached out to Emily and Dog Busters. She had him for 3 months. During that time, my husband decided he wanted to keep him and just manage the behavior. When the dog was 'ready', Emily contacted us and we drove down to pick him up. Today, he is a changed dog - no longer immediately aggressive, still requires an introduction but has accepted everyone we have introduced, and is a total lovebug with them. The big test was over the holidays and he passed with flying colors. I credit Emily and her team as they provided him with training, but just as importantly heavy socialization and an opportunity to feel safe. When we picked him up, you could see how they loved him. They were also terrific about periodically sending pictures - I could see how happy he was in their care. We are forever grateful to Emily and her team. Ranger adds so much love and ooomph to our house! He is so much more relaxed and every day, I see him relax more into our lives. Thank you, Dog Busters!

I sent my puppy for a 3 week board and train. I got no pictures during that time, my texts to check on the puppy went unanswered until I finally got the story about the stolen passwords (see her response to another client below). When I finally picked up my puppy it was evident that she really had not learned any commands, but was having hotdogs, chicken, and cheese shoved in her face to manipulate her into a position. I’ve seen no progress with the crate training, she knows no commands, and the ONLY difference I see is that she’s more comfortable being crated because I’m sure she spent 23 hours a day in a crate while there. Spend the extra money and take your dog somewhere where they’ll get high quality 1:1 training.

Absolutely awesome! I was referred to Dogbusters in September, 2021 by my vet "Dacula Animal Hospital". These ladies are the best ever. I feel so confident & reassured when dealing with them and a VERY stressful large 50 lb dog I rescued\inherited when my daughter's family was leaving town for a travel assignment. I already had 2 small dogs and a cat. I would say Emily, the owner, is so in tune with the dogs. She's AMAZING! Funny thing, everywhere I go, they know about Dogbusters and Emily, the owner.
