I just moved here from Colorado to Texas to be closer to my daughter as a 100% disabled veteran I had gone thru another program in the past for my last service dog. Because of my move I had a freak accident with my service dog open surgery trying to save her and she ended up dying, it was a big loss and hard for me becasue I helped train her to my disabilities. For two years. And the dog Alliance made me out to be an untrusted person to give a dog to. Even know I explained in great detail what happened they claimed that they had no information on how and why my past service dog passed away when I gave the veterinarian, what happened in detail. Because of my move I had to switch VA’s and mental health care and get the proper mental health support system and alliance wasn’t willing to let me establish proper care before denying me . Not only did all this happened but I was told to come down to meet a potential service dog (Tuck), they asked me how I liked him and I said I liked him and can work with him . After that visit I didn’t hear from them for two months +/ and the response I got after calling multiple times was that I am disqualified. I never asked for a service dog right away I just wanted to be on the list of that means I don’t get a service dog for 5 years than that’s fine / I know the process and willing to go through all the hoops and challenges to have a properly trained service dog. I was judged un fairly / discriminated against / I know how to be a handler to a service dog . I am responsible and the dog alliance is extremely discriminatory & does not care about your situation as a veteran. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never been so disrespected by a so called professional program that claims to be helping disabled veterans. And I will make sure to spread the word about my experience to other veterans that ask about your program. Just some advice - if this is how you treat 100% disabled veterans it might be a good idea to just not anymore.✌️

Save your money and find a different training facility. I signed my dog up for the good citizens evaluation. When I got there, they asked if we went through the training program first. I explained that I kept trying to find a link to sign up for this, but the only link they had was for PetCo, and that link didn’t work. They looked confused, and then said “oh, we haven’t put next year’s schedule on the website yet.” And I was supposed to know that, how? I should have been told immediately what the prerequisite is BEFORE they agree to take my money. So I paid them $45.00 for a 15 minute evaluation that couldn’t be completed. This was a waste of time and money. Moreover, it was a very uncomfortable experience. My dog was acting out of character, I couldn’t understand why. They tried to move forward with the evaluation, and barely gave us any thought or consideration, other than to say that they didn’t want to move forward any longer because they didn’t want him to have a future negative reaction to the trainer when we come back. Dogs have a great sense of people, and we will not be back. After reading multiple posts about the trainer/owner, I have to agree that these ladies are somewhat rude, not very friendly or approachable.
