FirstBarkI drive semi cross country. Dog 2 Dog showed me how to train my best friend to how I want her with spot on commands. In the mirror she is over a 100ft away in a down/stay with me out of her sight. Best decision I ever made was getting enrolled with Scott and Darcy!

Do you train puppies?
Yes! We have a Puppy Start Right program that includes potty training, behavior modification, signature obedience along with 12-punch pass to our Confidence & Social Immersion class. In addition, we offer a Puppy Play & Learn class that covers the basics (preliminary obedience, socializing, nutrition) in a fun and playful setting.

Are kids allowed in the training classes?
Yes! Kids make great dog handlers. They absorb information like a sponge, learn techniques quickly, and are very consistent (which may be hard to believe but is TRUE with dogs). One of the best things you can do is get your kids involved in training so that they can be the ones to take responsibility for the dog at home.

Yes! This is something we do often. Here's how it works: Schedule a private consultation (at your home or in our studio) and we'll perform an assessment and provide the tools help with behavior modification. You'll receive an in-depth summary about your dog, and its character, drives, and instinct. And if the solution requires additional training, then we will roll the consultation fee into our class tuition.

Yes! We have taken our Signature Obedience training online and on-demand. This is a fantastic way to train your dog on your own terms: you choose the day of the week, you choose the time. Do you offer in-kennel training?
Yes we do! We call it The Academy. Here's how it works: -Drop your dog off in the morning on Tuesdays & Thursdays while you run some errands, get some work done, or simply take some time for yourself. -Your dog will receive obedience training, socialization, and fine-tuning by our elite training instructors. -Pick your dog up before lunch and watch as she undergoes noticeable & lasting behavioral improvement. You (as the handler) will also be brought up to speed on all the training so that you it can continue while you are at home with your dog. PLUS, you also receive (12) classes of our Confidence & Social Immersion training on Saturday mornings.

We get a CRAZY amount of compliments on our dogs behavior in public and even with our friends and family. Darcy and her team at dog to dog have absolutely changed our life’s and our pack at home. I love Darcy and her team! I have tried other dog trainers and watched many training videos, none of them were as simple and effective as Dog 2 Dog’s methods. I would get confused with other training on when and how to command and I was so tired of repeating myself, only to see little results with my dogs. D2D eliminated all of that. Patience and dedication while following their methods gave me the results I was looking for, and sooner than I imagined possible. I not only gained the knowledge to feel confident with training and taking my dogs out in the world, but I also became a part of a community. D2D stays connected with me. They want me to reach out whenever I have questions or even if I’m just looking for reassurance with the training. They are there when I need them and will be even after my training has finished.

Darcy, Mem, and Sam at Dog 2 Dog training have changed our lives! We adopted a difficult and nervous dog, Copper, two and a half years ago. We spent a year and a half working with treat-based trainers whose methods were not effective for Copper’s particular needs. After we found Dog 2 Dog, they helped us switch to a different training style where we reward Copper with touch and attention while also maintaining control and understanding boundaries for where we are all comfortable. We could hardly leave the house without Copper having a meltdown before, but now we can enjoy hikes and bring him with us to public places! Copper is clearly so much happier, and we understand both his and our needs. We also have a second (much calmer) dog, and Darcy, Mem, and Sam have been amazing at adapting the training methods they teach based on the needs of the specific dog being worked. We’re so glad we’ve found Dog 2 Dog and are so excited to continue working with them and watch our dogs continue to grow!
