Divinity K9

We did the 4-week board and train with our German Shepherd, Kya, and the change in her was unbelievable. We already had a shepherd and 3 cats in the house and when we brought Kya in, the house became pure chaos. Kya is now well-behaved, knows her commands, crate-trained, ecollar trained and the dogs can coexist and actually play together without any aggressive type behavior. During the whole process, we were provided with daily progress reports and photos, which gave us peace of mind. I highly recommend Divinity K9 for anyone that needs any type of dog training. We continue to use their boarding services, which Kya seems to love, especially play time! In the future, we definitely want to do more dog day care! Any future dogs we get will definitely go to their training!

We enrolled our dog Robbin in their 4-week board and train program. Our main focus was her reactivity to men and other dogs. We did receive updates a few times a week that included very pretty professional pictures and occasionally a video or an update on what that training session was about. We also visited Robbin about halfway through the time she was there and was impressed with her progress at that point, she was already around multiple other dogs without freaking out like she would have previously. At the end of the time they had her, we had a 1.5 hour training on how to continue her training at our home. She had lost a little weight, as she can be very particular, especially when she's in a new environment, but we had talked about that through the weeks. I could tell they tried to make sure she was fed by buying a bunch of different foods, and she's eating well at home and gaining back what she lost. Since being home, I won't say she's a completely changed dog, but she did make amazing progress in 4 weeks. We've taken her to farmers markets, a small festival, and just walks around town with almost no reactions. We've also been able to continue the training in our home, and she reacts to us so much quicker. Before if a dog walked down our street, she'd freak out, barking and lunging at the window. Now it's easy to redirect her and get her back focused on us (after an initial reaction). We're also working on "place" and being calm when people come over the house. Overall, Jake, Jess, and team were able to give her a really great "Reset" and we're very pleased with the progress. It was well worth the cost! We're also really happy to now have another place to board both our dogs when traveling.

We sent our dog to Divinity K9 for the full board and train service, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She was there for a total of five weeks, but the first week was just boarding, without much training work. She has very high separation anxiety, so this gave her time to get acclimated, without being expected to work much. Anyway, she came home a different dog. It's only been a couple of days since we picked her up, so I haven't had a lot of time to continue her training at home, but I have taken her on walks every evening since she's been home, and the difference in a walk now, compared to before the training, is like night and day. Now, I actually look forward to taking her on walks. I also noticed the difference in recall with her right away. So far, she's come to me anytime I call her, regardless of what she was doing at the time. The last thing I wanted to talk about is how thorough Jake was when we picked her up. Not only did he go over what they did with her while she was there, but he actually demonstrated how to reinforce each of the commands that she learned, and gave us the opportunity to practice using the proper training techniques. The full time we were there (about 2-1/2 to 3 hrs), we had their full attention, and I never felt like they were rushing us along. Actually, what I realized during that session is this; the most important thing to them was to make sure that we were set up for success before we left there with our dog. Both Jake and Jessica were awesome throughout the whole experience.

I had an amazing experience with this dog training company! My one-year-old Chihuahua mix completed their two-week program, and the results were incredible. She came home more obedient, confident, and well-mannered. The trainers were knowledgeable, caring, and took the time to understand her personality and needs. They also gave really great guidance for continuing her training at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for effective, compassionate dog training!
