Digman Canine Academy

My husband and I have completed 6 out of 7 private lessons at Digman Dog Academy with our 6-month-old Goldendoodle, Rooney, and we truly couldn’t be happier—especially working with Ethan. One of my biggest hopes for Rooney was that he’d be able to run off leash on the beach during our family’s biannual trip, without eating anything gross or trying to join up with other families. Thanks to the training and guidance we’ve received, he absolutely exceeded our expectations—he was an absolute prince the entire trip! Ethan has been incredible to work with. Rooney lights up every time he sees him—full body wiggles and the biggest smile—and it’s clear how much he enjoys the sessions. Honestly, our whole family will be sad when our 7 weeks are up because we’ve all come to look forward to the classes so much. We’re so grateful to now feel like part of the Digman Academy family. Immense thanks to Ethan for helping our little guy enjoy vacation with some freedom and for shaping him into such a well-behaved, delightful companion!

I could not be happier with the experience my dog Waylon and I had with Ethan at Digman. We had very little progress with another local trainer but the techniques Ethan taught us were exactly what we needed. I was hoping to establish a good base of obedience and training and that's exactly what we got through the individual sessions. My only regret is that I wasted time and money with another trainer first.

We came to Digman academy from Altoona. Our boy Bruno needed some extra help with reactivity. We were lucky enough to have Ethan as our trainer. I’d give him 10 stars! Bruno and I learned a lot. We are not afraid to go on walks now even with other dogs, kids, or people nearby. My family doesn’t have to worry when guests arrive at our home. We really miss our training sessions after completing the seven week course. Thank you so much Digman academy and big shout out to Ethan and Bruno for all their hard work!

Kelsey was a joy to work with. Her clarity of purpose made every session with my dog productive. It was super fun to co-train with other dogs and trainers, with Kelsey masterfully leading us through exercises that taught me dog how to listen under even the most stimulating of situations. The facility is clean and well suited for training year round. We’ll be back when we (if ever!) get another dog. Thanks Digman!

We just graduated from the Digman Academy. Our 9 month old GSP learned a lot. The lessons were geared for our lifestyle. The trainer (Ethan) listened to our needs and shaped the training for our family goals. He included our 12 year old and it was a huge benefit for us to learn together. Private lessons were worth the investment. We achieved our initial goals and have built on his skills and our skills as good owners.
