Your dog NEEDS to work with Claire Digman at Digman Canine Academy, and so do YOU! She can tackle any of your dog’s problems, and she will then follow up with you at home to ensure that the positive progress continues. Our rescue dog was mentally and physically withdrawn, fearful, and completely unsocialized when he went to her board/train program. Through Claire’s work in obedience and helping him to conquer his fears, Ollie is now a self-confident and happy pup with a bounce in his step, a wagging tail, and a desire to learn and connect with both dogs and humans. She provides great one-on-one training as well as monitored socialization with other dogs (if needed), all with lots of love and fun as well! As concerned dog parents, we especially appreciated the fact that Claire sent us photos and videos of our little guy’s progress throughout his stay with her. We felt completely connected to the experience even though we were not present – a wonderful customer service! We would highly recommend Claire to ANY dog-owner, regardless of the issue you face with your furry family member. She will make your dog’s life – and yours – much happier!

We are so impressed! Our 2 year old pit bull terrier mix spent 2 weeks with Claire and came home a different dog! Before her training we kept her in a spare bedroom and struggled to control her both in the house and on the leash. She came home to a new baby in the family and house guests a few days later. Despite these stresses, she doesn't have to be kept in the back room any more. She's calm around our house guests and obedient on the leash regardless of encountering stressful situations. We work to reinforce her training every day, but a new relationship of trust has been established and we are so thankful! We'll definitely be bringing her back to Claire for boarding!

Claire has been an incredible help in improving the anxiety of our 4-year-old beagle mix Scout. He was very gun shy and scared of thunder — a fear that had even caused an anticipatory fear of rain. Claire came to our house for an evaluation and described the ways that she would work with us to help him find a way to deal with his anxiety. After just a few lessons involving very simple concepts, we noticed a huge improvement. Now we are working on more advanced concepts and have a much less anxious dog, which makes everyone less anxious! Claire is thoughtful, kind, and knowledgeable, making her a great trainer for dogs — and humans.
