I can’t say enough great things about Diamond Cut Kennels. They took our strong willed Doberman pup in and treated him like family and we received a well mannered and obedient pup in return. The one on one training was very hands on and Kevin is one of the best trainers/instructors I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. His family was so kind and treated us with such hospitality, I highly recommend Diamond Cut Kennels to anyone. I pray the Lord continues to bless this family and their business.

My daughter purchased a female Chinese Chow Australian Shepherd mix about 2 and ½ years ago named Ash. The dog was to be a therapeutic dog but quickly became a problematic dog. She displayed excessive barking, growling at people, lunging and jumping at people, tugging when trying to walk her, jumping on the furniture, taking over the bed, laying on the ground and refusing to get up, not listening or obeying any commands given, spending time in time out when at doggie daycare and I could go on and on. My daughter had a medical emergency, and it became clear that the dog would be a safety hazard. Mr. Truitt was recommended by a friend, so I reached out to him for his help with the dog. Mr. Truitt agreed to train my daughter’s dog for 2 weeks. I am beyond pleased to say this is the 1st time I’ve been able to pet and love on the dog as she would not allow me to get close to her and I was afraid of her as she had made me fall twice. Mr. Truitt is amazing not only as a trainer but also as a genuinely caring person. He is a Christian man. I know his mother is proud of him and God is pleased with him. Through Mr. Truitt’s training he has totally changed all above-mentioned unwanted behavior of Ash. Ash now listens and obeys our commands. This is a completely different dog. She even sleeps in her crate. Unbelievable. The anxiety level for all of us is little to none. We look forward to taking Ash to pet friendly stores. Our 2 —4 month old South African Boerboels attended Diamond Cut Kennel Board &Training Advance Obedience program for 1 month. KEVIN is a dog whisper he exudes patience & understands dogs and cats. Not only did he work with our Boerboel’s he made sure we “Pet Parents” knew how to follow up on what our puppies learned. We tried several other trainers & non preformed & gave us results like Kevin. We were amazed of what our 4 month old Boerboel’s learned. They walked side by off leash /& on leash. They socialized with other dogs & people. Sometimes training was @ Tractor supply . Pet Smart, Home Depot. They even watched patiently while holiday decorations were being assembled . Kevin kept us abreast of their progress weekly via face time or text. Never in a million years would I have thought our Boerboel’s would play with a cat or let the cat climb on them . Now that the boerboel’s are home , with us we practice sit, down, stay, off leash, on leash 15-20 mins a day ( just to keep them sharp). They perform according to the command. Kevin was never to busy to return our calls/ responded to our concerns. KEVIN is very knowledgeable about dogs & cats. Due to Kevin’s expertise we recommended several others to train. Kevin took in my 3 year old Belgian Malinois to help with his aggression issues. Before his training we couldn’t take him out of the house without having a major problem and him immediately wanting to go after the first person he saw. After being with Kevin for 4 weeks he can go out on walks, go to stores, and be introduced to new people without the fear of his aggression. My family is so grateful for the hard work Kevin put into my baby! Definitely recommend for all your training needs!
