Desert Sky K9

Desert Sky K9 took our rambunctious puppy (10mo GSP) and helped guide him into having an excellent foundation of being well behaved. He has improved walking on a lead without pulling, listening, and does the command we say the first time instead of doing what he wants. This experience has made both us and our puppy much happier. We have the freedom to take him places and are able to eat dinner in peace without him begging or jumping on the table. We still do consistent training from a command sheet Desert Sky K9 gave us. That combined with the post-school training/handling sessions are enjoyable for both us and our dog. We are extremely pleased with the results, and look forward to enjoying life with our good boy. Thank you Desert Sky for helping us help our dog be the best boy he could be! We and Nash are so grateful!

I dedicated my life since a child growing up on a ranch to helping animals and loving them. mainly horses of need. I have a 9 month old puppy. English Mastiff. pure breed 120 pounds I have always had large dogs. I sent her to training with Mark and Gail and how amazing she is to spend life with. she was amazing prior as we love our dogs. but now she is so behaved and calm when we ask her to be, to have a little time out from a puppy. They did such an amazing job puppy training and our dog you could see loved them so much picking her up. She loved seeing them and so grateful to them for the love they gave her. Desert sky k9 helped us keep our family together. I have an 12 year old Pitt who has always been so easy and we decided to add a 10 month old to the mix and this buddy sure has been a handful. I have always been a firm believer of not rehoming dogs because once you commit to adopting them, they are family. With Blue, our puppy, we got close to rehoming him until I met Mark and Gayle at Desert Sky k9. They kept him for a month and worked so hard with him and his behavior is so much better. He still does have some issues with jumping on guests but we have been slacking on coming in for our lifetime free training sessions so it’s honestly our bad, not theirs. I love that they let you come back as often as needed to touch up on skills that way we don’t feel hopeless anymore. When we got blue back I was worried that he wouldn’t be “the same” but he was. He was actually happier. I can tell he likes structure and he enjoys doing tasks we ask of him since mark uses positive reinforcement training. We are headed over there for a touch up lesson with blue tonight and I look forward to the progress he will make. Thank you Gayle and Mark for saving our little family. You guys are the best and I will continue to recommend you. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our baby!
