Hiring Eve is the best decision I have made to date for my reactive border collie. We were not in a good place when I met her, and the difference I am seeing in our quality of life is incredible. We still have a long way to go, but working with her has done more to make me a better handler and person than I can describe. She has gone above and beyond what I ever expected from a trainer time and time again. My dog needed training, but I needed it more and that is exactly what Eve did. She taught me how to navigate my own emotions and identify things in myself that made our journey much more rich and productive. Having a reactive dog can really take a toll on your mental health, and Eve took that in stride and met us exactly where we were and did so much to empower us as a team. I credit so much of the dog I have today to the things she taught me, and our relationship is bounds ahead of where I thought possible. She is upfront, honest, and direct in the best way. To say she “speaks dog” is an understatement. She knew exactly where to push the envelope, and she showed me that my dog will surprise me and exceed my expectations when given the opportunity and tools to succeed. Eve is awesome! When our rescue pup went from shy to showing signs of fear aggression we needed someone to guide us and Eve got back to me right away and we quickly scheduled a meeting with her. She was honest and informative right away. She never promised to change our dog's personality but taught us how to set him up for success and not put him in situations that would trigger bad behavior. We learned a lot and I feel so much more confident when I take him into public or when we have people at our house now. The changes we've made have lead to our pup feeling more comfortable as well.
