After adopting two young Westies (a boy and a girl), we spent quite a bit of time researching dog trainers before making a decision. We ultimately chose Des Doggos after seeing Dee and Gene recommended multiple times in the McKinney Moms Facebook group, and we're so glad we did. Being able to work with our dogs in their actual environment made a huge difference compared to training in a facility. We completed a six-week training program covering the fundamentals, but what really stood out was Dee and Gene's depth of knowledge and ability to personalize the training to our dogs and our specific situations. DeAnna did such an amazing job with our 2-year-old Labradoodle, Scout. She gave us weekly step by step instructions to help build his basic obedience. So many things we thought we knew was the complete opposite and it helped us in a big way. We would highly recommend her to anyone that has any dog training needs. She treated Scout as if he was her own and we learned so much to build off of going forward.

She not only helped us understand how to “speak dog,” but also provided clear, step-by-step training techniques that built on each other and delivered real results. She was knowledgeable and helped us understand each command we were teaching our dog, Winnie.
