Adopted this sweet boy at a very inconvenient time in my life and quickly became very overwhelmed with how he interacted with the world. Scared of stairs, wouldn’t get in a car or a kennel, pulled on leashes and tried to chase after any cars/animals/people. DalmatiaBnB was such a blessing during this time, but especially now. Clyde’s board and train stay set him up with the foundations to become truly one of the most wonderful dogs I’ve ever encountered (yes, I realize my bias, but just ask any of our friends and family)! This training also allowed me to learn how to work alongside my dog and learn together. Clyde no longer runs after cars/bikes/people. He used to only pull on the leash, but now he can even be off leash and stays right beside me. We are still working on chasing bunnies, but if I catch him in the yard and call his name he will come back to me, which is something I find incredibly impressive. The best part of all of this is that this training experience allowed me the opportunities to take Clyde out in public and expose him to more experiences and animal friends. We go to the dog park, National parks, hikes, restaurants, he loves his cat friends, he is kind to young children - these are not things I would’ve ever been able to do/felt comfortable ever doing without his DamatiaBnB training. After growing up with dogs my family and I tried to train on our own, and they still wouldn’t listen… this is me telling you that yes, it may be expensive, but it was worth it. I cannot tell you just how many times Clyde has gotten complements on how well-behaved he is. He definitely did not start that way!!!
