D.O.G. Board N' Train

I considered myself an experienced dog owner (having previously had 4 other dogs in my lifetime), until I adopted my female Golden Retriever named Tala! We adopted Tala when she was 7 months old. As Tala settled into being in our home and with our family, her behavior began to worsen. She was mouthing/biting me to the point that I was getting black and blue marks on my arm. I couldn't take her for walks, both for exercise and to relieve herself, without getting "attacked"! Tala would also play very rough with my 9 year old by jumping on her and nipping. Tala was also resource guarding which was a significant concern for us. Essentially, Tala was out of control. We were not enjoying our time with her, and she was causing a great deal of stress within our family. We knew we had to do something, so we contacted Francine...thank goodness! After Tala's 4 weeks of training with Francine and Amber, she was transformed into an obedient, secure, and happy pup. We visited at the training facility half-way through the training and immediately saw an improvement. We were very optimistic! Francine brought Tala back to us once the training was completed and spent a significance amount of time teaching us how to work with Tala in order to continue reinforcing her training. Now, we literally have a completely different dog and we are all so in love with our Tala girl! I have also used the boarding services offered. It is convenient and I feel incredibly comfortable leaving Tala. Plus, Tala loves being back! I love that Tala's initial training continues to be reinforced and practiced during her stay. I cannot recommend Francine and Amber highly enough! Their expertise, compassion, and patience with dogs and their humans is stellar. I am so grateful to these amazing ladies for enabling my family to have our dream dog.

We sent our dog, Molly, for the Rockstar program for general obedience and off leash work. We couldn't be happier with the results! We no longer have to worry about Molly running out the door or jumping on guests. We were nervous about sending her for so long, but Amber sent us progress reports and pictures that were very reassuring. Even though the training has calmed her down, she still has the big personality that we love!
