We rescued a German Shepherd that had the sweetest temperament, but it was obvious that she had not been taught anything! She was probably an outdoor dog (?). We knew we needed much guidance, and fortunately for all of us, we found Cypress Dog Training. Ed actually educated us and showed us step by step how to train our dog. He took the time to explain things to us (since we are the ones working with her daily), and he showed us how practice makes perfect. We really appreciated that he came to our home. When we felt more confident, we went out in public! He even brought his dog, Charlie, along towards the end and that was wonderful to see our dog being social with another dog. Thanks to Ed’s training and our consistency, we are able to take her out in public to places like an Assisted Living Facility, Hardware stores, restaurants w/ outdoor tables etc. She is a well-mannered dog and she listens to us which is quite wonderful! We highly recommend Cypress Dog Training.
Ed of Cypress Dog Training taught us to work with our beautiful huskies so we can take them places and have them around others without worries about their behavior. Using his services was the best decision we could have made for Riley and Roxie!

I highly recommend Ed’s training! I initially did a 6 week session and I learned a lot from him. My dog immediately took to him and with continued work she made immense improvement in being obedient and happy. I even reached out later in the future to help with a new issue. With another session, he gave me a lot of insight and we reinforced her training. Haven’t had issues since. Thank you Ed!
