What is about the cost of your puppies?
All Border Collie pups NEED be tested for their herding instinct level before the breeder sales them so you know on a scale from 0 to 10 if you will have a pup that will make a good family pet or it needs to work stock. I test ALL my pups starting at 8 weeks of age, even some pups sooner, then I can show the buyers the right pup for them. Border Collies are one of the greatest herding breed out there. Therefore, you need to know what instinct level will fit "your" needs.

How much&can they be family dogs
All Border Collie pups need to be tested on sheep when they are pups for their hering instinct level before they are sold so the breeder knows which pups are best for working cattle, or sheep, or family a family dog. If a breeder doesn't know how or hasn't tested on sheep. Border Collies are a very high energy dog & you & your family are not, a Border Collie isn't for you. A Border Collie is born with an extended attention span, that why the earlier one starts training on them the better the B/C is. I test all my pups between the age of 6 to 8 weeks of age. I also start their obedience training at 8 weeks. I've been breeding & training B/C's since 1987, I own 22 of my own, they all have their own job.

I was lucky we got my bc in while she is still young at 17 months. She was a little reserved at first, but then she turned on, and took off for the sheep. Magic had so much fun and you could tell she really enjoyed once she realized it was okay to chase the sheep. Judi said she was a natural, so we will be back for more lessons. #newsheepherdingjunkie

Best experience I have ever had regarding a dog. I met Judi who owns cutters quarters because one of her pups was a search and rescue dog at my elementary school. When I went to meet her I was amazed with the dogs and how she interacted with them. After a few visits I decided to purchase a border collie from her. Judi totally matched me with my best friend for the next 15 years. Chloe. During that time we gained another border collie through Judi that became Chloe’s best friend. Other family members also gravitated to Judi and added a border collie to their lives. This has truly been the most amazing experience of my life. Thank you Judi and Cutters Quartets.
