If I could give a zero I could, my mother sent her dog to this trainer for over a year and the dog still doesn’t respond to simple obedience. Every show that she was entered in my mother wasn’t allowed to attend because she would “be a distraction to the dog”. If a dog has been properly trained the owner being on the grounds shouldn’t make a lick of difference in the performance of that animal. Sadly my mom drank the kool aid so to speak and bought into this ridiculous idea and never once got to see her dog show in person. Now that her dog is home it won’t even come when called. I feel my mother was completely taken advantage of and Jamie used her as a payday without putting the work in. Also before anyone thinks I’m inexperienced when it comes to dogs. I’ve competed at the highest levels in akc and ukc when it comes to hunting retrievers. It’s basic fundamentals you work on obedience first because a “here” or “stay” can save a dogs life in a dangerous situation. If you’re hoping for a high quality trainer, I’d strongly advise you to look somewhere else.
