Crossroads School of Dog Training

From an unruly pup to a well mannered dog, the one on one training with Cara and Bre has been awesome! It is not just training Scout, it is training me to handle him. Scout understands it. I understand it. It makes sense! And all done without bribery of food. This is a step by step structured lesson plan with videos and reading material so plenty of resources to fall back on. We can always go back for help and refresher classes. The facility is nice too! Cara has boarding for her students as well!

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Crossroads School of Dog Training. I contacted Cara even before my dog Baxter was old enough to attend puppy school. She gave me early tips and I made plans to attend puppy school. Now, after Baxter has graduated dog obedience at 7 months, we are attending the free Saturday finishing classes. Here we get to introduce Baxter to being attentive to obedience even around other adult dogs. I’m looking forward to a well behaved confident dog in all public circumstances . Thank you, Cara & Brie. After adopting a 2 yo German Shepherd who had been rehomed 3 times, I was desperate for help. My dog had been kicked out of the Kennel Club for aggression toward other dogs and had no obedience training. In 10 lessons at Crossroads, I have a different dog who I can finally take in public places. All of my friends are commenting on the positive change in behavior of my dog. I learned so much and highly recommend the training techniques used by Cara. Her continuing training through group lessons and boarding facilities are a bonus after completion of basic obedience training. Highly recommend.

I can't even say enough how much I recommend Cara to anyone who has a dog, whether they know they are in need of dog training or not. I have a dog who is a rescue who was in a bad and scary place when I got him. We tried a couple trainers but not a lot of trainers nearby were willing to work with aggressive dogs. Cara took us in and it was worth every penny and every second spent with Klaus. She taught me how to communicate with him and Klaus is undergoing a transformation that I did not know was possible. I really feel that she saved his life. I am so happy to have my dog be a very pleasant part of the family now and HIGHLY recommend Cara to anyone who has a dog!
