I talked to four other trainers and had a session with two of them to help my anxious, reactive dog, but no one seemed to know how to really help her. The day I talked to Dan I finally had some hope we could find some solutions. Dan has worked with my dog Denali over the course of a few months now, (training me on how to handle her too which was maybe the most important I think, lol) and has helped Denali learn to self regulate. She has made so much progress! I can take her out in public now without her losing her mind and she can walk relaxed beside me. We will continue her training to help her be her best self. Dan has been training a rescue dog that I adopted and had numerous issues that I was unable to deal with after having 10 other dogs in my life, 6 of them being quality hunting dogs. He took Mia from having people insecurities and everything being a distraction, to being comfortable and relaxed around people, even strangers to an extent. And she has become very obedient to her commands. In the last 1.5 months since Dan has been working with her, her personality has changed, to being very confident and interacting with people which she was only doing with me. Mia and I will continue to work with Dan as I’m slower learning how to handle Mia than Mia is learning what Dan has been teaching her. I would highly recommend Dan, not just for the results but the caring manner in which he has taught her, with all the unknown issues that she has brought into our family. I would give him more stars but it only indicates 5. Thank you very much Dan for your care and handling towards Mia, and your patience with me.

I have two mini Aussies (6 and 1yo). After finding out that we were expecting a baby we called Daniel to help us refine our dogs behavior to prepare for our new baby by actually working with us to train them- giving us the tools to succeed. In a very short time period, he helped us get our youngest pup, who is more reactive by nature, fully obedient and leash trained. He also worked with the older one to refine his behavior further. We had already tried several things with our younger pup with no luck in reducing her reactivity. In just a couple of visits from Daniel, her improvement was so noticeable that family members began to comment on her good behavior. We are now less than a month from bringing our new baby home and feel confident thanks to all of the tools Daniel has given us. Dan is all around amazing! His techniques work like magic and are so easy to carry forward on your own. He does an incredible job training you on how to apply the technique and thoroughly explains why it works, which really helped me understand a little more about my dog's psychology. In addition to learning how to teach your dog obedience, Dan also teaches you how to play with your dog, which was unexpected, but invaluable. Now I can stop my dog from jumping on visitors, I can walk him like a pro and we can play fetch! All this after after just taking the puppy course. I can't wait to see how my dog evolves after the adult training course! My dog was a 10 month old bernadoodle when we started the course, just for additional context.

Dan is great to work with. I love that there is always a rational behind what we are doing. Oakley has turned into the dog I knew has there. I just did not have the skills to move him to a contented dog. He had several homes in his short life before I foster failed and he became my boy. He changed from an anxious reactive boy to one that is learning to trust that I can lead and protect. Thank you Dan I have such an incredible bond with my boy that I know will continue to grow with what you taught us.
