CRK9 Idaho

We recently had our first baby, and our 4 year old doberman was struggling to adapt to the change. Concerned about his anxious behavior around the baby, we wanted to find the right trainers to help us correct the behavior and most importantly, find trainers that know the doberman breed specifically. Kevin and Allie took time to listen to our concerns and really got to know Dexter and showed that they know his breed very well. Within weeks Dexter improved and is already showing that he can be calm and confident around our baby boy. We are so relieved and excited to keep the training going with him at home. Also super relieved to know we can call Kevin and Allie any time if we have questions or need additional help. I would highly recommend CRK9! Especially for working and high drive breeds. We already have our second doberman going through their board and train program now and we can't wait to see how our dobie girl does with them. Thank you Kevin and Allie!! Our Miss Mara was a shelter dog that struggled with training, especially recall. Her previous situation, apparently, was not good for her so we knew she would need more of a one-on-one with someone who could train her with an understanding of when to be firm and when to be flexible. We found that in Kevin and Allie. They were very good at explaining each step and the exact how’s and why’s. They would send updates whenever I asked (within reason) and were patient, though firm, with training us humans. We are still learning how to correctly use rewards to encourage all our dog’s best behaviors. But I know that any questions or concerns we have will be answered as soon as possible, with video examples if needed. I would recommend Kevin and Allie at CRK9 without hesitation for whatever situation your dog is in. Miss Mara is a more confident dog and is recalling without any issues. We are also considering bringing our other two dogs in for training to be on the same level as her. It is totally worth it!!!!

We were having some behavioral issues with our blue heeler Huck and we were completely at a dead end with what to do next. We reached out to a few trainers in the Treasure Valley but Kevin and Allie were the only ones that we felt truly listened to and understood our concerns. They were also the only ones to invite us out for a in person consultation with our dog. My wife and I both felt a sense of relief as we talked through our options and the training. We elected to do the “board and train” with Huck to give him the best opportunity to succeed. It was worth what we paid a million times over. Kevin’s attention to detail, but gentle and affectionate handling of our dog produced a much more confident and well rounded boy. Kevin was also very patient and through with us as well in teaching us Huck’s new skill set. We would highly recommend CRK9 Idaho to anyone looking for dog training!

We rescued a GSP who was found abandoned, still with milk, very cold and left behind. she was, as our vet explained, a one and a half-year-old who Bled, bread and was dumped. It was evident she had only lived a life in a kennel, having zero training of any basic commands. We spent a month in our home, trying to work with her. She proved to be complicated, insecure, stubborn, slightly broken, and more of a challenge than we could work with. I started to seek out additional help. Knowing a family member who had previously used CRK9, this was one of a few local trainers I spoke with. Speaking with Kevin, a conversation that was willingly of length to explain his techniques, cares and beliefs, came as such a relief. A dog is a pet not a tool. I was about to not send her to a trainer after speaking with Jacob at Fowler K9. I’m not one to speak down on many. Frankly he was cold, short and made me completely uncomfortable, almost turning me off of Private trainers. I will forever be thankful for my comfort and my decision to take her to CRK9. Kevin and Ally took Remi in and gave her the tools to LIVE HER BEST LIFE. A dog with only a sit command(when she wanted), in 4 short weeks, came home with a better spirit, more personality, all the commands and requirements we agreed on. Night one at home, Remi placed while we ate dinner, she played off leash with her family for the first time, ever. She walked for three blocks on a heal, she rode in the back seat and stayed there as asked! Pictures and video updates came constantly. Communication continued her whole time there. Both Kevin and Ally worked with me to be sure I was comfortable with all the training, commands and the next chapter to start. I will encourage anyone who needs help, to visit with CRK9.
