I would not recommend this trainer based on my experience. I entrusted him with my dog for approximately 6 weeks to work on her reactivity. When she was returned to me, she had lost 15 pounds and had developed a severe case of ringworm that required veterinary treatment. Despite being away for an extended training period, her reactivity remained unchanged. After expressing our concerns, we scheduled a follow-up session. He did not show up and never contacted us to reschedule or provide an explanation. I am extremely disappointed in the condition my dog was returned in and the lack of professionalism and accountability. I strongly encourage anyone considering his services to carefully evaluate whether this is the level of care and follow-through they are comfortable with. Edit- this is a response to the comment below: I have already attempted to resolve this issue directly and no resolution was provided. My review reflects my experience with the services provided.

We just got our Echo back from what we affectionately call her "Kindergarten" after 5 weeks. This was definitely a trust in the process decision, and I'm glad we did just that. When Eddie picked her up and said he was excited to work with her, we could tell he meant it. By the end of the training, he even offered to keep her an extra week to fine tune her confidence. Although we appreciated the offer, we just missed her too much so he explained what we can do on our end to continue with her training while still being available to us when we needed. We had a realistic expectation and they were met with the understanding it's up to us as the owner to do our part in the process as well. Eddie makes us feel like we are a team. Thank you for giving us the jump start we needed.

Eddie took my dog in for eight weeks, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the experience. Eddie helped me understand my dog, took the time to educate and answer any questions I had throughout the entire process. Before training, my dog struggled with reactivity and I truly believed he would never be able to safely be around people without a muzzle. It felt limiting and honestly discouraging at times. Eddie not only worked on the behaviors, he worked on my dog’s confidence. That was the biggest shift. He taught him structure, better boundaries, and how to regulate himself instead of reacting to everything around him. The change wasn’t just surface level obedience. It was a mindset shift in my dog. He’s calmer, more secure, and able to be around people in a way I didn’t think would ever be possible. I feel like I finally have my dog back. If you’re on the fence, especially with a reactive dog, I would absolutely recommend Eddie. The transformation has been huge for us.

Where do we even begin? There simply are not enough words to fully capture how extraordinary Eddie is. Truly. We have a former toy poodle rescue named Dolly whom we love beyond measure. She came from a puppy mill background, and we were told her previous owners were severely negligent. As a result, Dolly came to us already a few years old without any foundational training. Potty training was a constant struggle, and she displayed intense fear-based aggression, barking uncontrollably at strangers. After years of trying our best and feeling like we were failing her, we reached out to Eddie with my wife in tears and feeling hopeless. From the very first meeting, Eddie was warm, patient, and incredibly understanding. He immediately recognized that Dolly needed work, but more importantly, he approached her with compassion and confidence. His ability to diagnose the root causes of her behavior, explain them clearly, and outline a thoughtful, effective plan gave us an immediate sense of peace and trust. What truly sets Eddie apart, however, is the depth of his care. During Dolly’s training, she unfortunately became ill. To say Eddie went above and beyond would be a massive understatement. He ensured she received the proper care, stayed up through the night to monitor her, and treated her with the same urgency and love one would give their own dog. Knowing that someone cared for Dolly that deeply when she was at her most vulnerable nearly brought us to tears. That moment alone speaks volumes about the kind of person Eddie is. When Dolly came home, she was transformed in the most beautiful way. She was calmer, more confident, and able to go out in public without fear. She could socialize, trust, and exist in the world without constant anxiety. Sure, as she is older she still has "homework" to do, but the foundation is clearly there. The skills she gained felt nothing short of miraculous. Eddie’s continued follow-ups and genuine investment in her success made it clear that this was never “just a job” to him. We are beyond grateful to have found Eddie and cannot recommend him highly enough. If you are looking for a trainer who leads with expertise, compassion, and unwavering dedication, look no further. Eddie is truly one of a kind.
