Critical Canine Dog Training

My family and I have been extremely pleased with Critical Canine. They trained our Great Dane and Irish Terrier at the same time. They were very knowledgable, caring, and responsive. They were able to put us at ease and give multiple updates during the training process. We were also able to visit during training and especially appreciated the at home visits with Chris once they were back home. Critical Canine will also board dogs that they have trained, which gives us piece of mind when we are away. We will definitely use them again.

Chris helped my dog with a sever dog to dog aggression issue. Though my dog’s issue is still there but he got so much better and more manageable in that area. He also had weird issue with humans which was random and it was hard to fix because you couldn’t really pin point the pattern to find a root cause. But after consistent visits with Chris, this issue is completely gone. My dog is calmer over all as well. If you train your dog with Chris, you can also board your dog with him as well and I can also trust him with my dog. Chris is super accommodating and I always give him short notice but I can depend on Chris to take my dog in which means a lot to me.

We have had such an amazing experience with Critical Canine. My husband and I fostered a catahoula mix (Cooper), and while we loved our boy, we struggled with some of his stubborn behaviors with walking on a leash, obedience, reactivity, and settling down in his new home. When we started calling around to interview trainers, we knew right away that Critical Canine was the right fit because they really took the time to answer questions and get to know our needs. Chris and Jonathan did an amazing job and really made us feel comfortable throughout the training and boarding process. We always felt comfortable asking questions and were consistently and openly communicated with on changes and expectations to set with Cooper for positive behavior changes. Chris even came to our home to work with us and they were more than happy to share knowledge about grooming and other questions that pop up in our dog ownership journey. Cooper is such a happier and more well-adjusted dog since working with them and we feel so much more confident about how to meet his needs and keep up his training at home. We are so grateful to the Critical Canine team!
