Creating Forever Dogs

Fran has stuck with us from puppyhood into adulthood thriugh Grover’s ups and downs. She is great at considering his unique needs and creating an environment that sets him up for success. Grover gets so happy when I tell him we are going to see “Miss Fran” and loves practicing his skills. He is 110 lbs and I am never worried about him overpowering me. He is better trained than 90% of dogs we meet out on our walks. He is the first dog I have trained and am so grateful for Fran’s guidance and patience in teaching us both!

I have learned so much from Fran from Creating Forever Dogs about how to handle and train my dog as well as how to train myself, which is sometimes the hardest part! We have so much fun in class, and my dog absolutely adores Fran and going to “school!” We look forward to it each week, and my dog has come so far in his training that I’ve decided to learn about how my dog could become a therapy dog and give back to others. This has created a bond between me and my dog that I’ve not had with my past dogs and been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had!
