In our private lessons, I try to focus on teaching the human how to communicate with their dog, rather than focusing on teaching the dog how to sit, down or stay. I will definitely teach how to train your dog how to do those things, but training boils down to the owner/dog bond.

April helped me with two of my young Bernese mountain dogs. My girl was a covid puppy and needed extra special attention to help bring her out of her shell. She went from hiding behind me on the first day, to extra big wiggle butts when she saw April! My boy was a chaotic and hyperactive puppy who had the focus ability of a goldfish. She worked patiently and consistently to train both ME and my dogs throughout our classes, and I’m happy to announce that they both earned their CGC titles now! Definitely recommend. She can work with all types of behavioral issues!

This is going to be a long review, but well worth the read if you are considering taking your pup here. I am a CRAZY dog mama. I don’t mess around with where and who is taking care of my Daisy. Which is the reason why I switched from our previous place I was taking her to. I’ll admit I was a little nervous, but left April’s home feeling extremely comfortable. With Daisy’s past, she has some serious separation anxiety issues. However there were not any signs of nervousness, and she didn’t even care that I left her! At drop off every step that was taken reassured me that things were going to work out. April properly introduced the dogs one by one to make sure that they got along. I received so many updates, pictures, and videos. She let me know how training was going and what they worked on each day. April is a highly professional, experienced, and knowledgeable trainer. She didn’t hesitate to take time answering all of my questions and concerns, even providing me with detailed work to do at home. I live about 45 minutes away, and it is well worth the drive. I would highly recommend anyone to look into Crazy K9s Dog Training. You will not be disappointed, thank you April. You will see Daisy again soon!

April is amazing to work with! Down to earth, kind, patient & knowledgeable. I have a VERY tough German Shepard pup, Charlie, that she’s helping train & teach- we’ve done puppy basic classes, daycare/school & week long board & train sessions… Charlie loves going to see his friends, learn & play at Aprils… he always comes home happy & worn out & is moving toward being a good boy who listens nicely & consistently. We really would be lost with out Aprils services available ♥️
