Crate Escape Training Academy

Long overdue, this has been the best experience for our dog Archie. Archie has worked with Melissa, Lindsey and Natalie for a year and the difference between his first day and today is unbelievable. The care, individualized support, and education has been unbelievable. Crate Escape Daycare suggested the program when daycare was a bit too overwhelming for him. His reactivity and nervousness was only getting worse and while I knew he was trainable and could thrive, it was clear that I needed new tools to help him. Through the support of the team, we have learned how to properly handle his quirkiness and support his journey. Watching his progress and personality really emerge has been so rewarding and I am forever grateful for this team's support.

Our dog Binx is fearful of strangers, skateboarders, bikes, kids… you name it! Every walk around the block was stressful for him and for us. We tried several trainers without success before finding Crate Escape Training Academy. Within days, Binx was feeling more confident and able to focus on us rather than all of his triggers. He completed Level I and Level II and is truly a new dog. Melissa, Lindsey, and Natalie are incredible and knew just how to set Binx (and us) up to succeed. We still send Binx for drop-in training days when we go out town and board him at Suite Escape, and always know he’s in great hands. We can’t thank Crate Escape Training Academy enough!!

Crate Escape Training Academy is really the best around. Not only do they do great work in the facility itself, they provide owners with amazing tips and videos so you’re able to keep up the work at home. My puppy is full of energy at 4 months old, and they have truly helped me feel confident in socializing him into the best guy he can be! If you’re adopting a puppy (or any aged dog) this is a really well-balanced, inviting training experience. I always feel at ease when dropping Otis off for the day!

The Crate Escape Training Academy is an amazing place. My wife and I have our almost 11 month old golden puppy Daisy there today. Melissa, who is the head trainer, is a truly talented trainer and is backed up by two other trainers, Natalie and Lindsey, who are also amazing! They all adore the dogs and really know how they think and how to motivate them with nothing but positive reinforcement! In a short six weeks Daisy has gone from a typical lively pup to a well mannered furry citizen. She started in Level One with three day-long classes per week. She graduated after three weeks and went straight to advanced training for what will be four weeks. She is at the end of her third week and now immediately responds to recall without the need for her e-Collar stimulus. (BTW the e-collar is not a shocking device.) Now when we go to Home Depot Daisy ignores inanimate and animate distractions alike. We are so proud of her and owe it all to the Melissa, Natalie and Lindsey at the Crate Escape Training Academy in Charlestown MA! The pre-enrollment interview was thorough and very refreshing. We had not met Melissa in person but could tell that she was good, very good at what she does. We have felt as doted upon as a client as the dogs must feel! I would recommend them without a single reservation! PS They have, from day one, kept us updated throughout the day with training videos!
